Hey all. I came across these palms which I think are dates…I am totally new to the hobby and don’t know if the seeds I collected are even viable being that they are quite small and seemingly unripened. Anyway, here’s what I found - any ideas on what kind of date palms these are and what should I do with these seeds?

Cut the fruit open and see if the seed inside is solid.  If it is white, let it sit for a while and it may turn brown.  If it does, it has a shot of sprouting.

Thanks guys for the info. On the fruit, there are a few fruits that have a solid seed inside. I’ll give those a shot at germinating first - with the green ones, the seeds are soft and white…do they sit and mature or should this of happened on the tree? These were all collected from the ground.
