If it sinks in a cup of water, it has a very high probability of germinating.

Clean it well with a brush after soaking. I got good results with the paper towel method and the soak method. They will germinate in water at room temp.

a while back I was eating pitless dates and I guess one lucky seed got through production and I'm gonna germinate it

I find seedless dates kinda silly really.  What's next, a seedless peach? :lol:

I really don’t like eating around the dates or having to ripe them open and remove them myself, I’m just too lazy and want to just chew it but lucky that one I saw I noticed it hadn’t been pierced! Funny enough though the beaches I’ve been eating all have the cores popped open on the inside and I can literally just eat the whole thing :o
