~I'D LIKE TO HEAR EVERYONES TAKE - ESPECIALLY GROWERS AND/OR NURSERYMEN ON POTTING PALMS IN PROMIX - BX, HP, BX WITH W/ BIOFUNGICIDE & HP W/ BIOFUNGICIDE. MY QUESTION IS POTTING USING ONLY PROMIX. YOUR THOUGHTS??

~ALSO ON AMENDING BAGGED SOIL WITH PROMIX, FAFARD GROWING MIXES, LIGHTWEIGHTS, MIDDLE AND HEAVYWEIGHTS?

~FOR PALMS THAT REQUIRE HIGH MOISTURE, SUNGRO METRO WITH PROPRIETARY WETTERS AND LIQUID NUTRIENT CHARGE?

THANKS  :)

More glossy product to impress the consumer. Bagged mixes here are rubbish even if it has an Australian Standard of premium grade the NDI is way to high, the Water Holding Capacity is to low and the porosity above 25%. Nutritional status is a joke.

IIRC I heard a very creditable person say Promix #4 (I think) is very good for seedlings...

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.
