I saw these palms on the internet and I was wondering how long it took

for them to get this big, does anyone have any majesties this size?

at Ikea they have some with 9-10 feet (not the trunk the leaves)

with about a foot of trunk for 50 bucks but I don't know how long it takes

for them to get this big.

On Google maps we’re you able to change the date and go back some years and see if they were still there and the size of them?
I think they are ugly when small and won’t grow where I live but as they grow they turn into great looking palms.

The largest majesty palms in Houston-Galveston were about that size. Most were planted in the early 2000s.

Probably much faster if you don't account for cold damage setting it back every now and then (until 2021 repeat comes along and kills it outright). Majesty is similar in bud hardiness to pygmy date, ~20F.

Do you know any locations?

Since those IKEA palms are grown in deep shade that palm is going to burn in sun and shrink in height the first couple seasons.

Would grow it under a magnolia, pine and live oak, so partial shade

You might get some sunburn but they'll acclimate over time. Mine is in a pot on my patio and it hasn't grown a ton vertically over the past year but it's getting fat and rootbound. $20 orange disappearing apron box store plant from 2020 and I'd ballpark it to be about 5" around now in a 3g pot.
