Almost 4 months in, great progress! Thank you!

I'll get them in some more light, they're a bit leggy right now.

Got the seeds a few days ago, soaked them, and gave them a fungicide wash. They are in a community pot now on a heating pad. Thank you!

What temp do you have the mat set to? I think i kept mine set to 100F and it warmed the little bit of soil pretty efficiently for my robusta and sylvestris seeds back in February.

I put mine in the cupboard above the hot water tank, which is typically something like 85F. I removed them once there were a few sprouts coming up to room temperature (typically 70s day, 60s night) and they are still coming up (15 out of 30-something so far), so these seeds don't seem to need especially high temperatures to germinate. 100F might be overkill. Even if it doesn't inhibit germination, you don't need it that hot.

The mat being set to 100F usually keeps the soil temp at the "perfect" temp in most cases, and since the room the mat is in is usually in the 60's, 100F works well for me. If i remember correctly, the soil temp stayed steady between 87F-93F back in February.

I didn't do so great either but tbh I haven't put much effort into them. Dave sent me enough to fill 2 community pots. I got them last January and just put them in pots indoors. They didn't really pop until summer when it got hot and I was able to move them outside. This is what I've got left, so if nothing else these 2 are tough. I really need to give them more dirt and more room now. 2g pot for perspective.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a temperature setting.

The seeds germinate fairly fast with daytime temperatures above 90F, even with nighttime temperatures around 70F . Between 95F to 100F appears to be the sweet spot.

You'll start seeing a few pop up every day.
