I was on a walk today and found this gem hiding next to a hotel. Excellent microchip late (canopy, concrete, beach nearby). Gorgeous white crownshaft!

    In the winter of 2018 that palm received some cold damage when we had two cold events in January. Other than that it has always looked pretty good. It's holding more leaves now than I've ever seen.  Beautiful!

    Great find! Perhaps bodes well for @shminbabe in her microclimate just up the road. She’s growing spindles too.

    This guy had been in the ground since looks like 2013 maybe 2012 in south Jacksonville Beach ...still going strong today.  I pass by all the time on the way to a friend's house and always forget to take a current picture. I'll get one next time I swing by.     Doesnt look like its going strong to me but it is alive.  From what Ive seen these are a bit less hardy than cocos.

    Formerly in Gilbert AZ, zone 9a/9b. Now in Palmetto, Florida Zone 9b/10a??

    Looks great. I purchased a baby one last month, hopefully I will be around long enough to see mine get to that size!
