Just noticed this view of my Syagrus amara.  Probably been in the ground for 20 years or so. Seems to be very happy here.  There are 3 clumps of Chamaedorea seifrizii at it's base.  Two quite viable in the photo.

Beautiful palms Steve…….20 years, that’s been quite awhile now. Mine have grown up as well and are attractive palms at any stage.

I just saw one of these in person for the first time the other day at the Kopsick Arboretum  and really liked it. Must be the most attractive Syagrus. Yours is a beauty for sure!
