My homemade Trachy shelter

Hey All,

This is what I did today. Got all supplies at Lowe’s. I’ll have this over my Waggie with Christmas lights and a thermocube. Lots of mulch and copper fungicide too. We are having a warm spell but at least I have something made. I’ll take it wherever I move too so I’ll have at least one thing ready for a Trachy! Hopefully it works… cost was about $100 but the greenhouse panel was enough to top my minors and needle too. I’ve seen versions of this but this is what I came up with.

Looks very sturdy. Are you leaving the back open or does it go right next to the house? Where are you moving?

Thanks! It’ll be flush the house. I’m going back towards Lake Erie - Technically a half zone warmer but the duration of heat is less so not really any better. I’ll be there more permanent though so can plant everything I’ve been wanting to.
