Any new progress now that temps are rising?

Really makes me wish the winters here wouldn't nuke these. We saw a low of 9° this winter.

Not much change since that last pic in February. Things should get moving in the next few months though!

Yep, thats a bit too cold even for these things. This winters low for us here in CF was 10 degrees warmer than the lowest low last year. We ended up with with a zone 11 winter on paper at least. You can always keep one in a pot for a few years.

Ugh I missed the April 3rd birthday. Here she is today 4 years from a sprout and just beginning to show a trunk under the oldest leaf bases.

Wow, what are you feeding that thing!!!

I have one that struggled it's first year in the ground, but it's finally pushing a new spear.  Looks very similar to your original pics in 2021.

Trying to get a grip of the size of it. Would be great with a picture of the palm and a person standing next to it.

I was feeding it an 8-2-12 of one type or another and sulpomag regularly the first couple of years. I haven't been giving it anything but water lately. It probably helps that theres a leech field nearby. Good luck with yours Scott.

The crown is probably 14-16 feet tall and about the same width. I can’t wait for it to get off the ground a bit so its easier to get around it.

Incredible. I have one that went In about your size that has grown exponentially. I have another that is approaching 2 years that has stunted comparatively speaking. Keep doing what you are doing. Looks great.

Your palm tree's evolution is incredible. Thanks for your contribution. This post is a great way to know if my palm tree is developing properly.
