Help ! Is my bizmark Palm sick ?

Featured Replies

Hey guys.. let me start off by saying i know nothing about landscaping, plants, trees, flowers etc. we planted a pretty tall bizmark Palm as the center piece of our yard, about maybe 7 months ago. It’s definitely grown and matured. But now I’m noticing that the ends of my fronds are drooping slightly, but i think getting worse? Almost looks like the fronds are too heavy and need to be trimmed, but I read that we don’t cut them unless they’re brown and dead. It gets a ton of water, we have a sprinkler system, and the flowers around it are just fine and have been this whole time. The fronds themselves are not brown or anything, but the center of the tree has a sphere going straight up, and it’s definitely growing what looks like brown hairs, and that brown substance is definitely not getting better, if not just worse. Not sure if that’s normal ? Is it dying ? What should I do5B647000-CB04-4914-AF10-461849700462.thumb.jpeg.c2cd9271b5bee8f4d2aae288202faff7.jpeg
