Snagged for $20 - Just fortunei?

Hey All,

I just snagged this locally for $20. It was labeled “Chinese fan palm”. I know it’s a Trachy, likely just a regular fortunei? Just wanted to verify.

Thanks in advance!

I agree with Allen.  Probably was supposed to be labeled "Chinese windmill palm" instead.

Thank you both! I wasn’t used to how feathery and soft the leaves were compared to my Waggy hybrid.

Are you putting it in the ground anytime soon?

I’m going to upgrade it to the pot it is sitting in for the rest of the season/winter. I am moving closer to the lake in the spring and it’s a 6b up there so am gonna wait for the new house to plant. I’ll see how my Waggy does this winter here with my protection method and hopefully just copy it next season for this guy.
