I picked up this book at Gary's Nursery in New Bern, NC and I haven't been able to put it down.  If you have even a passing interest in Sabals you will be captivated by the mix of science and homespun humor. The author has a blog at https://palmettobook.blog/ that will give you a taste.  The pictures in the book are black and white.  It's the words.  This is a University of Florida Press book.

Thanks for the heads up on this book. I have always been a fan of Sabal palmetto but my appreciation has been growing lately as well as for all the other Sabals. I should have my copy tomorrow.

I want to write more scientific papers, but lately I've been writing a residency personal statement to get a medical scholarship. I am assisted in this by residency personal statement writers, who I am sure will be able to write a very high quality document.
