My friend and I are dorming together at Tulane next year and I want a nice christmas palm in the dorm because i really dig its bright green color and the way the fronds are. Problem is that no one in New Orleans really sells these palms because they can’t be grown outside here. Anyone know where to get one in August/September near NOLA? I think I might have my car next semester too so if I absolutely have to drive to like Florida I might.

Tons of companies mail order them. Plantvine, Etsy, EBay, Jungle Music, Tropical Plants of Florida, etc etc

Have you tried looking in big box stores? Walmart gets them here in the Pensacola area but they dont last long on the shelves, they get bought up quickly.
