I have noticed something wrong with my second oldest Sabal seedling, the first leaf it put out has turned brown and shriveled up, and it has done so within the past few days. The older seedling hasnt lost any leaves yet, wondering if this may be an issue. Will try to post pics tomorrow. Definitely has me concerned.

I think Sabal palmetto seedlings do best growing in the middle of a dry field, regularly run over by maintenance vehicles and mowers and occasionally sprayed with roundup.

    Thanks! The reason i wonder is because this is what my oldest seedling looks like, the one pitcured above is my youngest now as the last one died.
