How to keep Christmas palms in containers small

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hi, I am planting a small raised bed garden in New Orleans specifically to be a haven for green anole lizards. The star of the 4' x 12' garden will be 2 Christmas palms. I don't know if this is possible, but I'd love the palms to stay small - I love the size of the ones in the photo. Will growing the two of them in a single pot help me achieve this?  I'm not a gardener and I'm from up north so this is my first palm tree experience. Just want to have a pretty tree and make the lizards happy.  Thank you in advance for any tips.
