I found this list in a almost as old as I am princeps.

How many places in So Cal can you name that have a palm name? settlments,streams,mountain ranges,canyons etc..the kahiki palms hotel don't count!

lets see how well the folks from so cal know the area in which they live ???

How about "Palm Canyon" at Cal Poly Pomona. Ain't on the map, but the locals know where the bodies are buried...

SoCal and SoFla; zone varies by location.

There's the city of La Palma in LA County (I believe) and La Palma avenue.

There's Palm Drive in Beverly Hills.
