Hi all!

New to the world of palm tree care and just need some expert advice.

I recently acquired a few varied palm trees and one seems to be infected somehow - possibly mealy bugs? However someone has said maybe it’s fungus related?

Appreciate any advice

Matt

I am definitely no expert but that looks like Tomentum to me which is normal.  Maybe someone with more experience will chime in.  Definitely doesn't look like mealy bugs or fungus.

This is what a mealy bug looks like. It's the white bug at the base of the leaf. This is on one of my small hibiscus plants that I started from a cutting.
