Can Anyone ID These Agaves?

Does anyone know what these agaves are? I thought they were both Agave americana but now I think these might both be different species. I’ll need to get a better picture of the variegated one tomorrow.

Thinking Agave desmettiana, or a hybrid involving it..  At least the green ones.. Variegated might be the same species, but could be another species/ hybrid as well Have the variegated form of A. desmettiana and they look like yours. See the green form/hybrid planted all over town. Aren't always " smooth " as the common name would suggest. A. americana have much blue leaves that are very stiff, not rubbery/ plastic-like  like these.

I'd say both are Desmettiana.  The variegated ones are common at big box stores around here.  The green ones are sometimes smooth edged, sometimes slightly toothy.  I just dug up a few 5 foot diameter ones from the front yard this morning.  They produce lots of pups, and are pretty quick growers.  They do ok around 30F but burn in the upper 20s and with frost.

Thank you both, I ended up returning them because I was going to put them in the ground, they are not hardy enough for here!
