Ocean Beach Coastline,

I was out on sales calls and paid a visit to Ocean Beach while I was out. Here's a few pictures of the coastline under a gloomy morning sky.

Hey!  That's not O.B.

O.B. is north by the pier, barely visible beyond the palms in photo #1.

The photo with the stairs is our winter surf spot.  As you can see, this is the most overcast part of San Diego County.  Turn left at the steps, uphill 2 streets, turn left, go about 4 blocks and you will see the most handsome matched pair of spindles/Hyophorbe verschaffeltii I've ever seen in California.

Thanks for the photos!

Yeah, I lived in OB VERY briefly.  Never looked like that! :;): Would have prefered to live at Sunset Cliffs.  Nice!

Dear Dave  :)

I accept the stills are terrefic, but that place beach has no shore to walk around ? and if one has to get down the stairs and take a dive, iam shure that dive will be his last.

so tight & cramped area.that area should be the smallest beach with rocks bolders around ?

thanks for the stills, but love to see the area which Kim has mentioned_hope iam not asking too much !  :)

And dave what is your stuff_DSLR or regular Digital and what brand.since iam stuck with canon.check for close-ups

& super macro that is the area iam having troubles.

love,

Kris  :)

love conquers all..

Hello Kris! When it's high tide there is no sand to walk on but when the tide is out at sea you can walk on the beach. My camera is a Kodak Z1275 with 12 mega pixels and 5x optical zoom. It is not an SLR just a standard digital camera. It's nice n' small but takes incredible pictures.

Dear Dave,

Thanks for the info and iam glad you got the right camera which suits your taste.but for me the macro's & close-ups

was a requirement which is totally lacking in mine.

thanks & love,

Kris  :)

Kris, with 12 mega pixels I can take a picture of the ocean then crop it down to a tiny boat and still get crystal clear resolution. I use this as a better form of macro when I want close up images.
