Does anyone have experience with this palm, Butia paraguayensis. I am wondering how cold hardy this is. I have seen anywhere from 15oF to 23oF so that's quite a range. I was hoping someone on here might have some freeze damage info on this. I appreciate everyone's comments, thanks

I have multiple Butia  sp. paraguay that have been untouched by 25F and many light frost events for ten years

Matt in Temecula, CA

Hot and dry in the summer, cold with light frost in the winter. Halfway between the desert and ocean

It will be fine in Gainesville. I highly recommend this palm (I drove all the way to Miami from Ocala to get one). It is smaller and more shapely than the other But and has a beautiful silvery tint that is hard to photograph or describe.
