and to complicate matters.. an F2 tornado touched down about 10 miles from me..... From what people are saying, it sounded like a freight train coming through..

Bren, I couldn't believe it.... It's more rain in one hour then I've ever seen... It was only a (2) hour ordeal.. but It looked like a huge bucket of water was being dumped out of the sky... It was crazy....

I think this is what our Southern hemisphere summer is going to be like. One minute we're in drought, the next minute we're under 20ft of water.

Wow Bobby!  All that rain and an F2 to boot.

It was dry here for about a week so I decided to make it rain.  I spent about 1 1/2 hours of quality time with my garden hose and voila!.  Within a couple hours we had a great thunderstorm.

Good Lord, Bobby-

That's just crazy!! Thankfully we have been getting rain in my area, but not like that!!

Yesterday we had a couple pretty good storms come through and spawned 2 waterspouts at Flagler Beach (about 15 mi. directly East of me ). They came onshore then quickly dissipated.

I haven't had to hand water for about 4 weeks now

(1 time in that 4 weeks), and I am very thankful, as it takes me 2 1/2- 3 hours to do so.

Hopefully you get some nice weather while you are in Florida!! It's really been hot in my area.

Nice wet, not so thrilled about tornadoes though.

Say Bobby, what's happening in the garden these days ?

Happy Gardening

Tornadoes aren't fun. About every 10-15 years Cincinnati gets a direct hit by an F4 tornado. The 74' F5 tornado that wiped Xenia, Ohio off the map, literally, roared through Cincinnati first. The 99' F4 tornado that ripped right through Hamilton County was a nasty one too.

I've always wondered what a tornado sounded like before there were freight trains?
