I have two Chinese Fan Palms that has this on their leaves.  I believe this is called "skeletonizer" some sort of worms or parasite?

After looking on the internet the only solution I can find is to cut off the affected fronds or hose off the stuff with water.  I have this on EVERY leave on the two palms on that side, and these leaves are 20 feet in the air, impossible to hose off.  Any ideas?

I have had it terrible on my chinese fan palms too and to some extent the washys, but it is worse on the chinese fan palms.  Hate it, but don't know how to control it.
