Is 15-9-12 osmocote too much phosphorous?

Fertilizers for palms are impossible to find where I live. The best fertilizer I can find and afford is osmocote 15-9-12 with trace elements. I'm also using seaweed foliar spray and I make my own compost. I read phosphorous is intended for agricultural soil only and too much can kill plants, so I am worried if I use this osmocote 3 times a year then phosphorous will build up and cause trouble for my palms. Do you guys suggest I ditch the osmocote and just use urine (for nitrogen), muriate of potash, Epsom salts, and seaweed foliar spray? Or can I keep using the osmocote? I like the osmocote because we will still get it for our fruit and vegetable plants, it's slow release, and it's simpler and less work than the fertilizer cocktail I'm thinking of as a backup.

Oh wow I didn't even think about using less lol. I like that advice. Maybe I can do a half dose of osmocote and add urine once or twice a month and maybe a little muriate of potash for my coconuts which like chlorine. Maybe for the other palms the half dose, seaweed, and compost are enough.

Kinda high on the nitrogen. OK if your establishing the palms. High for maintenance. Time release is a big plus.

My palms are established and they get no fertilizer. Fed from long term heavy mulching. Get all the nitrogen they need from 55 inches of annual rain.

Yeah I was thinking the osmocote was a bit high in nitrogen. My garden is still less than a year old so maybe it's okay for now. However, I definitely won't apply a full dose next time.
