I ordered a few palms from them (very happy with them by the way) and they sent a bag of fertilizer with each tree.

They sent it without a label so I don't know what the chemical make up is or what brand it is..  so I was just curious if anyone has any insight?

Here is a picture of what it looks like:

Thanks,
Tim

No, I don't know about this specific fertilizer.

The basic 'rule of thumb' for palm fertilizer has a NPK ratio of approximately 3-1-3,  and it will contain a broad spectrum of the minor elements with balanced amounts of Calcium and Magnesium.

@PalmX, that fert looks a lot like the Simplot Palms Plus that I use. It's a slow-release fert with micronutrients.

But without a label, it's hard to know for sure.

I do, too, though that's not necessarily a permanent thing.

They have steep prices but I surprisingly can't find the "usual suspect" palms in my area. I was looking for a mature Pygmy Date Palm single trunk, and the closest I could find was 3-4 trunk babies at HD.

I also wanted a mature single trunk Adonidia around 6 feet tall but again all I could find was baby 3-4 trunks.  I ordered a cheaper one online and learned my lesson.

They are very good for getting the exact palm you have in mind, but you pay the price. Some of the cost is probably from shipping too.

That's relatively new,  I bought both of my palms from them towards the beginning of Spring and it wasn't there. I guess their Certificate expired. Their website is interesting. No new reviews on there since 2016. I left a positive for my Pygmy and it never showed up.

Regardless,  I ordered my palms (separate times). got an immediate confirmation email, and both palms showed up within 6 days of order.

Seems like if you have a problem with them though they are hard to get ahold of.

Thanks for info. Yep - took me 3 - 4 hour days.

I guess they make a few different formulations for palms. The one for here I guess is for potassium deficient soils - which is us.

And BTW - thanks for gracious blurb in PSSC Journal about Dorian's garden.

On O`ahu I can get two types.  Both are time release.

The one DypsisDean gets APEX I can buy in 50 lb bags at a local ag supply shop.

The other is from Home Depot is smaller bags but I calculated the price per pound is about the same.

The price per pound may be similar, but the Apex is a better value, it  has 50% more nutrients,  12 N rather than 8N.   :)
