Copernicia rigida vs. macroglossa

Featured Replies

A good reference, side by side comparison of 2 similar Cuban palms. At a younger age,COLOR will be your best guide.Copernicia rigida is always a darker olive green.Copernicia macroglossa is always a lighter lime green to yellow. Seedling to adult.

Know what you're buying... :)

I would be happy growing either.  Spectacular and unique looking palms!

Wanted to share a couple pics of my macroglossa and rigida as well as some “unknown hybrids” that I started from seeds collected from a macroglossa at Fairchild Tropical Garden in Miami .
