My Bismarck appears to be changing from blue to green. How do I keep it the blueish color? Is it missing a nutrient?

Mine seems to do this as well with cooler temps. When it’s blazing hot it’s more white/silver. When it’s cooler it seems to be a bit more subdued or green. I’m sure genetics has something to play with this as well. Just my observation!

these can lose some wax in winter and wax production is going to be related to sunlight intensity.  When it loses was the photosynthesis increases so its not all bad.  the plant will decide when to make the wax.  Also when the sun passes through the leaf the light coming out the other side is always more green, that is chlorophyll.   If you put the sun at your back you will see more white, as more light is back scattered from the wax and doesnt pass through the chlorophyll.

I bet she gets nice an silver down in FL. Once it gets too hot for you outside, the Bizzie will be in full swing!

In the Volusia county area Bismarkia's tend to stop growing completely from December to around right now. They definitely are more silver in the peak if summer.  But some specimens are just greener no matter where they are
