Im curious what a great price is for a palm like that. Around here that palm would be no less then 250$ for what looks like a 15g ?

I'm still waiting to hear what nursery it is, since I'm going through Daytona either tonight or tomorrow morning.  Even if they don't have any more Beccariophoenix they may have some other neat stuff I want!  I just cut down 8 big water oaks and have more spots to fill!

Are small Beccariophoenix alfredii, like this, planted in ground, ok for windy days, 30 mph ?

any advice on soil type ? I take it, normal sandy free draining soil ?

That's a steal, they are pretty slow and a bit of a pain in containers so you stole that palm.

I got it at Pells in Osteen. It was the only one they had and I had to ID for them. If they had more I would've bought them all.  They did have some huge 15 gal Dypsis decaryi for the same price prob 12 ft overall.

Thanks!  I would have never guessed there, I thought they only sold citrus!

So, where’d we land on my $150 offer. I’m assuming you’re on your way here with my new palm, but it just occurred to me that you never asked for my address.
