So I took a couple of pictures this morning of just regular mules I have growing, all the mules I have except one came from Frank and Elaine Lewis at Moultrie Palms (MP), in Saint Augustine.  The only other one came from Tejas Tropicals (TT).  The one from TT I had dug from my old house and replanted at my new house, is quite plumose.  These have both seen 19oF and no issues. In between is a Brahea super silver and a silver Serenoa repens. Mules just seem to do very well in are really crappy sandy soil, don't seem to present the same nutrient deficiencies as straight up syagrus which is really nice. The yatay mules shown earlier are really awesome as the hoot straps are green.  I have one green boot strap mule I got from MP.     Nice mules @8B palms !!! Mules have been a mystery for me here in South Houston. I have had nutrient deficiencies in all 3 of them in my horrible gumbo clay. Regular queens and Butia seem to do better =/
