Advice for Indoor Grow Light

Hi all, I have a 6 foot 7 gal adonidia palm that I was looking to use a grow light this winter for it. Does anyone know of a good grow light that I could use?

Hi, I ve used indoor grow lights for a few years now. I definitely go with leds which you can get in many from color temperature  full(72-90) gallon as seedling tanks.  the tanks are great with 3-4 four foot tube lights, they are low wattage 24 yet each has approx. 3000 lumens. then there are the led light panels that are full spectrum , blue, red, orange, and I,R.  see some nice ones from 300 wts to 3000wts, just depends  on what you are looking for. there should be a spectrum graph on the packaging showing you the curve. the only ones you will find listed by lumens are white light, the color temps are going to be listed by kelvin, the higher watts of course are going to be much brighter and one could cover as much as a 4x4 floor space. If you do look at leds look for panels that have fans and at least a double diode bulb.  Im not sure if that helps you or not but if you want other info just shoot me a text or just write here. Thanks Mark

P.S, please remember that while using grow lights to remember to use trace elements for the plants

I have. Been very successful with indoor led lighting I build a structure above the palms and make it adjustable. This winter I will try my first t5 fluorescent which will span 4 ft. I don’t mind experiments and also they have led conversions for florescent fixtures so you can cover a longer area of you have multiple plants
