This is my 2nd attempt of germinating these. 

I won't give up until I get one to pop :interesting: :beat_deadhorse: :asleep:

Good luck. At least your seeds look fresh. I've never had luck with this species.

OK, I'm 3 weeks in and I've got 3 germinated, found another after I took a photo. But it wasn't without it's dramas, that blue mold, I don't know why, but I find It common on these seeds. So I washed the existing seed, dowsed them in 3% hydrogen peroxide and placed them back in the bag, straight perlite and moisture content only being that of 3% hydrogen peroxide. Round 2 begins :interesting:

Good luck. Very neat looking palm that will be quite the standout in any yard.

I've potted up the 3 in a mix of equal parts perlite / cactus mix and a sprinkle of dolomite. Personally I'm excited because this one's been a tricky one for me! :o

Looks like after nearly a year I may have one seed starting to germinate. Happy days.
