For sale are the final lots of freshly germinated Sabal palmetto Lisa seedlings I have from my mother palm. When they are gone I will have no more seeds or plants available for up to two years, maybe longer. If you are not yet familiar with this fabulous mutant Sabal described and named in 2006 in SWFL, you can find plenty of topics and photos about it on PT. It is one of the most distinctive and unique palms in the world. Seedlings that inherit this trait may not show Lisa leaves for up to 3-5 years. Some researchers say chance of seeds coming up true is 20% but I have had up to 65% of seeds from a wild mother palm being true. But I suspect that may vary from crop to crop (why, I don't know) and I make no claims that you will have similar results. Best to try multiple seedlings and be patient. With these seedlings you will get a 6-month jump on the wait to find out.  My largest Sabal Lisa - and the mother of these seedlings - aborted its 2018 seed crop last summer - why, I don't know but I suspect Hurricane Irma may have played a part. So far this spring she has shown no sign of flowering yet.  Seedlings for sale germinated from the last of her 2017 seed crop. They are currently in community pots and range from just germinated to 6" strap leafers. If you've wanted to try this totally unique palm, now is the time to do so. Every Sabal lover needs to have one, or several.

Beautiful Palm that Is.   wonder if anyone in CA has had luck growin one of any size like yours.   Hopefully someone in CA buys a bunch so I can try one someday.   Mother Palm is awesome. Thanks for Sharing.   Probably grows much quicker out in Florida Humidity.
