Well Dave, with a few exceptions those all look like great choices to try in warmer parts of central FL as well :)

Looks like the only thing stopping you from continuing were your cramped fingers.  You left off:

Washingtonia robusta :P, Burretiokentias (hapala, koghiensis, pyriformis), Cyphophoenix elegans and nucele, Chambeyronia houailou, a horde of clumping and non-clumping Dypsis (lanceolata, heteromorpha, pembana, ambositrae, sp. bef, decipiens, basilonga, decaryi, malcomberi just to name a few), Chamaedoreas (adscendens, neurochlamys, oblongata, metalica), Cyphosperma balansae, Ravenea julietiae & glauca, Cocothrinax species & Copernicias.  Ok, so I count in Genus not species to get to my count!  I prefer Group Theory over simple numeric counting of species.

Add Dypsis plumosa to the list.

Just as washies in Cali, wherever you drop the seed, it grows...

I’m taking notes Dave. One of these days I have to get it to see your garden. I’m sure the pictures on PalmTalk don’t even come close to doing it justice.

I have nearly every one of those palms up here in Northern CA. I think I'd put Howea on the list as well as Hedescepe, and Foxy Lady. Come to think of it, Beccariophoenix alfredii and Parajubaea torallyi would be on the list as well probably replacing a couple of the Dypsis.

Yes, I presume?  I'm not growing it so don't recognize it, but that's a Syagrus I would be inclined to grow if I had more space.  My 10 Genus are already taken on my list unless I take off Washingtonia :D.

Yeah it is Tracy. Thing is, you don't need much space for this guy. The entire base is probably 8"-10" across. 'Dainty' isn't a word I normally use but it's pretty apropos for this palm.

Jubaea is not on the list?  Is this a "top ten favorite palms" or is it "recommendations for palms that grow best, look the best and are relatively easy to care for?

Formerly in Gilbert AZ, zone 9a/9b. Now in Palmetto, Florida Zone 9b/10a??
