Correct Jeff, the first is alexandrae though. Hope those new to the palm experience read this post for a mini lesson.

Millbrook, "Kinjarling" Noongar word meaning "Place of Rain", Rainbow Coast, Western Australia 35S. Warm temperate. Csb Koeppen Climate classification. Cool nights all year round.

First of all i should tell you that your new avatar looks pretty neat like jeff searle' avatar.

But our friend GreenHand has changed his Avatar to a picture of Hand (horror movie style)But i felt his old avatar was terrefic.and easy to remember him in our post. :(

I was amazed the first time i saw fruits like these on a palm!

My local supermarkewt has chamaedorea elegans planted out near the cafe and I noticed flowers last year which caught my eye.

How old does C elegnas need to be to flower by the way?
