So this palm is not new new, I had it in the ground since Spring. It is a Butia that I am planning to protect and hopefully do a good job doing so since I now have experience getting less cold tolarant palms (to my area) through the winter.

Looks great! Nice color too. I purchased my first two only a month or so ago. Still in pots though, won't see the ground for another year or so.

I hope you (and us all!) have a better winter to deal with this year.  I also planted out 2 Butias this past March that I grew from seed.  My first Butia is roughly the same size as yours.  The mother plant was a nice blue color, but this seedling is just now starting to show some blue on the petioles of the new growth which is a very light lime green!  Same story with the second photo - very blue mother but no hint of blue in this one (a bit older but almost dwarf-like).  Shows how variable these can be.  Fortunately I have a much larger Butia that is bluer.  It suffered some transplant shock from my move last August and is finally now starting to look normal again!
