I will be spending a few days in Gaudalajara later this month.

Is anyone familiar with 'must see' gardens in or around town? I promise to post pics.

Ashton,

I've traveled there a few times and there's not much to see in the way of palms.  I know of one private garden near Lake Chapala, but I doubt it could be visited.  I think there's a nursery there introducing a few rare palms, but in general the area is without exposure to unusual plants.  I think you'll see Ravenea rivularis, Bismarckia, Dypsis decaryi and things like this.
