Uncommon Fan Palms @ 7-11 in Santa Barbara

Featured Replies

Spent a couple of days in Santa Barbara recently and noted a few not commonly seen fan palms outside a faux Moorish building at the corner of State St and Mission St.  They might be Livistonas (I’m not really up to speed on identifying unusual fan palms, unfortunately).  Please feel free to chime in here if anybody recognizes them.

But the real star of this post is the tenant of this faux Moorish "palace":  a 7-11 convenience store!  (There’s also a Subway shop at the end.)  Really???  Yep.

Chuckled about it all the way back to Orange County!!!

^ Agree w/ Steve, L. decora for sure.

Interesting look for a 7-11. Gives its an upscale look, if that is possible.
