Looks good, Would think the shell provides pulses of extra Calcium to the palms also, -in a sense- imitating the lime stone- based soil conditions many grow on in S. FL., Cuba and other parts of the Caribbean.

Wow! Very incredible shrinking act, however it looks great and I hope the new leaves get larger! 

I'm always up for learning new things!

Yeah these guys tend to shrink a bit when they get out into our sun. I planted a nice 15 gallon Copernicia gigas late last summer and it lost half its height . But on the flip side always super green and looks flawless
