Former director of the Kampong, avid plantsman, and all around good guy Larry Schokman has passed away following a recent heart attack. He was 82 years young. I, for one, will miss his enthusiasm and positive spirit. RIP, friend.

I heard that there will be no religious or other memorial services, but perhaps a celebration of his life and achievements after the end of the year.
