Any Italian palm gardeners here? Or has anyone went to Italy and has some palm pictures?

PalmTreeDude

As one can read in some older "Palms" IPS journal, there are nice palm gardens  in the Italian Riviera.
I should find and post pictures of Villa Hambury in La Mortola ...

Check in Travel logs ....  december 2012

Jungle Paradise in Sri Lanka

There aren't many there. European fan palms are common in the north. Warmer areas in central and southern Italy have queens and maybe some howeas... Places like Capri and coastal Sicily do have a very favorable climate for palms, but there just aren't many palms there.

Howdy 🤠

I could be wrong but I've heard the introduced palm weevil has laid waste to much of the riviera, esp CIDPs.  Italy got it bad.
