    Very slow for us here in Southern California as well.

    Phillipe, I admire your garden very much, and your Kerriodoxa is looking wonderful!  I am wondering, is that a Cyclanthus bipartitus at back/right?  It is gorgeous!

    Yes it is, they grow fast and take too much space, but ....

    Philippe, it will start growing much faster for you now that it has a bit of size to it. It's well on it's way.

    Oh, and that Cyclanthus bipartus, they grow fast and I'm always having to cut it back. Takes a lot of maintenance, but I still like it.

    Oh wow! I didn't see this photo before posting in your other Kerriodoxa thread -- this palm is putting on some size!  Very nice!!

    Kerriodoxa can tolerate at least half a day of full sun, at least here in Hawaii.

    Whats the minimum temperature that your Kerriodoxa survives so far? Thanks!

    @fotodimattimy small one (a bit smaller than the original photos) survived 4 hours of 24-26F under canopy with moderate burn.  Unfortunately it caught a bud rot and I didn't notice in time to treat it.  Under canopy another small one was undamaged at 27-28F.  Some 2 leaf seedlings were also undamaged.

    Mine died recently. We had an unusually chilly, very wet winter. No freezing temperatures but warmth was at a minimum for several months. I won’t be planting new ones either since we often have very low humidity levels at times in the summer and keeping my three Kerriodoxa happy during those times meant watering them three or more times per day until the weather normalized.

    Thats a shame Jim! yours was looking great!!

    I just planted one in my garden, i guess its a goner with our dry summers then 😅 I feel better after trying at least.

    Sorry for your loss.
    I am trying Kerriodoxa because I saw photos of a marvelous looking specimen INDOORS in the Netherlands. No brown tips, perfect appearance. More than 2 meters wide.
