Back in Dec. 2015 I took a cruise that included a stop at Cozumel, Mexico. During my foray on the island I collected some palm seeds from an unknown palm. I can't remember their size or appearance. Last year I potted them up and got great germination. If only I knew what they were. I've noticed the following about them:

1) They are slow growing;  2) They are starting to go palmate I believe;  3) They are not Sabals, i.e., no saxophone roots or heel;  4) They are not armed

So, please can someone tell me what they may be?

Looks like Thrinax radiata, but maybe T. morrisii (Leucothrinax)

What color were the seeds ? Radiata or argentata ?

I can't remember. I do know radiata seeds are white.

Definitely Thrinax something.

Lived in Cape Coral, Miami, Orlando and St. Petersburg Florida.

I was just in Cozumel. Those are radiata.
