There is a big fat Mule Palm a few miles from the house.  Finally got a pic of it.  It actually looks like a Jubaea chilensis cross to me, because of the massive size.   What do you think?

The one at the Doc's here in Charleston is close to twice that size. I believe he sourced his from Merrill years ago.

That is a nice fatty. I am interested in how long that one kept its boots before they dropped. Did they remove them? Some drop naturally but I have only seen a few of that size do it.

I immediately thought Jubaea when I saw that palm; second thought was it is overly trimmed...
