I didn't want to hijack greysrigging's thread so I thought I'd start my own.

 

I have a small chipper/ shredder that isn't too great. I'd like to upgrade to something more like a 6HP gas. Who out there is using a chipper/ shredder and what type is it? Do you like it? Would you change anything? Does it handle fronds pretty well? Biggest I have here are Queens and I'd be wanting to do the leaves and rachis, maybe the petiole if it's not too big. No boots. Here's what I have and it works only OK- very dinky. I need more power. Thanks for the info!

I sometimes use something similar, I find is is terrible as it is far too easy to clog up with leaves and twings. It can only deal with green palm leaves. I'm looking at gett something with more grunt to deal with my green waste as my garden matures.
