A sunny sunday planting

Today I decided that I'd plant out my small Beccariophoenix madagascariensis in a fairly prominate location in the middle of my back garden. I had to remove a few agapanthus to make room.

Yes, nice looking but isn't it too close to next bigger palm? light, water, roots competition ?

I know the problem having many palms I like and not so much space :)

I'm not that concerned about root competition as I can always turn on a tap. I didn't cut through any palm roots only couch grass and agapanthus roots. My decision to plant the Beccariophoenix madagascariensis in that position was more about lines of sight the Washingtonia has reached that size where it only gets taller it will soon be seen from my second story living space while the Beccariophoenix madagascariensis can take as much time as it likes to get big as we will enjoy it at ground level for much longer.
