This palm blew over in 2004 from hurricane Charlie, and the college kept it.

I wouldn't plant one here. But they do curve really well.

There are some like that at Islands of Adventure at Universal Studios in Dr. Suessland. They came from an abandoned nursery down in Homestead. The palms had blown over in Hurricane Charley in 1992 and were never stood back up.
