Just sharing my Syagrus pseudococos growing and fruiting in the garden.  I like the looks of this Syagrus with a fairly thin trunk and best of all it is self cleaning.

Hawaii Island (Big Island), leeward coast, 19 degrees N. latitude, south Kona mauka at approx. 380m (1,250 ft.) and about 1.6 km (1-mile) upslope from ocean.

No record of a hurricane passing over this island (yet!).

Summer maximum rainfall - variable averaging 900-1150mm (35-45") - Perfect drainage on black volcanic rocky soil.

Nice sunsets!

I grew a seedling in San Diego for several years. It was the slowest growing palm in my collection. It only grew one new frond per year (if I was lucky). Do you have any idea how old your gorgeous palm is?

Hola a todos , recientemente compré semillas de pseudococos y no parece coincidir el tamaño de estás con la descripción que encuentro en internet ni a su nombre de pseudococos ,compradas a rarepalmseeds
