Well done Rick. I'll take the Kentiopsis and the blue jar.   I also like the stiff Chambeyronia. It is a sculpture!

For how long have you been in this place? I still remind where you lived in 1995.

Rick,

Nice stuff.  You can't even tell Wilma and Katrina made brief visits in 2005.  The potted S. botryphora looks great in the container.

Nice photos, Rick, but you can do better than that.  Show us some of those fab. understory plants, bromeliads, crotons, etc and a view of the water and some of those 5' Iguanas. Nice tiki too.  Your talents have improved.

The last time I was at Rick's, we watched a huge orange Iguana swim across the wide water way that the back of his property opens up to.  He crawled up on the dock next to Rick's and chased away another smaller Iguana that was sunning on the dock. Iguanas are an introduced species to S. Fla. and have become destructive pests.  They keep hybiscus near waterways clean of flowers, and some of them grow to be huge.  They totally cleaned out the hybiscus collection at Fairchild Trop. Gardens.

More pics. on the way, Rick?

Rick,

I agree, your yard looks very nice.....as usual. But, why don't you send  the mod. a PM for help in posting your pics. WE want to see more, especially since I have not been invited over in some time. :(  And you HAVE come a long way with your tiki's. It looks great.

Thanks,

I only come to work knowing my paycheck will assist me with buying more palms. Ugh. So many species, so little pay. :o

I got "stuck" palm shopping with Rick at the 2006, Oct. S. Fla. palm sale. I had to help him lug out all those beautiful rare palms, as he kept saying, "Why am I doing this"?  Of course I put a couple of palms on his cart too, so I aided his addiction. It's not fun driving to lunch with a palm frond stuck in your ear!
