This video is the most inaccurate video I've ever seen!

I would explain the problems with it, but this youtube comment says it all.
this is crap. windmills cant take lower then 5 degrees, possibly 0 degrees, once established. even with wrapping that palm would not survive a zone 5 or 6a winter. it would take some expensive Christmas lights, mulch, and tarps and blankets to survive -15f. and snow? ive seen snow in georgia and sc and many different cheaper palms can survive snow. just becuse a palm can survive snow doesnt mean it is that hardy. putting a potted windmill outside could only survive postitive 16f due to the roots being above ground. that picture at 2:04, the snow flakes were photo shopped, and the pool should be frozen. also, windmills wont survive zone 11 due to it being too hot (ironic right?) also, windmills dont do well in direct sun.

I've seen that video before and I really think they confused Celsius with Fahrenheit.

-15°C = 5°F, which sounds about right for Windmills. No way would they survive -15°F.

Wile that video is total BS, and they even show a Palm that isn't even a windmill Palm in one of the sales shots, and, even with all of this terrible misinformation as to possible growing climates for his species, I have to say this:

the photo of the pool isn't photoshopped.  The reason the snow flakes look like that is that the photo was taken with the flash on, while snow was falling.  I should know, I live in a somewhat snowy climate. (I think our 32" blizzard last year qualifies) I have taken hundreds of photos just like that and the falling snow looks identical.   The other thing I feel I must point out here is that just because the pool isn't frozen, doesn't mean it's fake.  It means absolutely nothing.   It can be cold enough to snow, especially early in a season, and not freeze bodies of water.  In fact I have personally witnessed snow fall when it's been in the mid 40s.  Usually not accumulating at those temps but it can. When it does it melts very quickly once the snowfall rate is overcome by melting.   It can certainly snow and accumulate to very deep depths above 32.

Nothig about that photo appears photoshopped to me.    That still doesn't take away from how utterly insane and wrong the video as a whole is and the information being disseminated by it.   Smh.
