Brookings Oregon is a southern coast town. Sunset 17, zone 9b they hit 99F/37.2C today 9/25/2016.  The old record was 93 back in 1937. I new it was going to be HOT there today when I saw 80F in Brookings at 9:30am.  Normal high this time of year is 68F. LOL!

I hear the bay area also got into the 90’s.

September can get toasty in the Bay area at times. I suppose similar although less likely situations can happen in Brookings. If it's that hot there, how hot is it in Medford?

Cheers, Barrie.
