I just found this info when searching for »Syagrus itapebiensis«. Does this mean that there is a second habitat of Lytocaryum itapebiense in Nordeste/BA? The first one in Itapebi/BA seems to be destroyed.

Oh no :blush:, it was a misinterpretation of »nordeste« by me :(: It does not mean Nordeste as a part in Bahia, but the »North-East« (nordeste) region of Brazil which Bahia as only one state belongs in. So we don’t have a 2nd habitat, and the 1st habitat in Itapebi got lost by deforestation. :rant:

Not in my living room, they got asylum on the window sill in my kitchen … :wub: (… between two other endangered species.)
